How Much Is My Antique Lamp Worth

poor Josefa Reina Puerto

Next to the Plaza de la Magdalena
once opened a passageway, known since the eighteenth century as poor Alley there Carthusian distribute alms among the poor.

In 1939 it received its present name, Josefa Reina Puerto, in honor of a teacher from Seville who was distinguished for his special dedication to the education of the poor.
Among the side walks and the central walk put two beds with numerous acacias.
were also incorporated banks which turned the area into a place of rest in the shade for many citizens.

In 2009, the area was again restored, eliminating many trees, some very close and the windows of nearby buildings.

While for some it remains the old alley.
